About Balance Chiropractic
I’m Dr. Max J. Pohl.
Growing up in a life full of extreme sports, wrestling competitions and strength training, I found myself becoming a patient of chiropractic due to chronic low back pain. Grateful that traditional chiropractic got me into the profession, it wasn’t until my significant other, Paige, regained her health from a seemingly “hopeless” and debilitating head/neck injury, that I realized focusing on Foundational Correction was my passion in practice.
Originally practicing as a traditional chiropractor, I was able to help people with simple neck and back pain while utilizing adjustments that cracked and popped the spine. However, with Foundational Correction (no popping and cracking), I have found great joy in helping people who believe they have tried everything to regain their health. After thousands of hours training and practicing this technique, I have found great confidence in helping people manage chronic conditions such as:
- Canal Stenosis
- Dizziness /Balance /Vertigo issues
- Jaw pain / TMJ disorders
- Migraine Headaches
- Multiple Sclerosis
I'm Dr. Ernesto Fernandez,
I was born in Havana, Cuba and was raised in Sarasota Florida. I received a B.S. degree in Sports and Exercise Physiology from the University of Central Florida in 2014 and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2017 from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida. Growing up with a passion for strength and human performance, I have accumulated over seven years of experience in functional exercise and strives to help people reach unbound potential.
Throughout my graduate studies at Palmer I developed a fascination with the chiropractic philosophy. I spent the rest of my graduate career studying neurology, anatomy, and biomechanics of the upper cervical spine and how those sciences relate to the human body’s ability to function and heal optimally. I have currently finished over 300 post- graduate hours in Foundational Correction and am dedicated to educating and empowering the Colorado Springs community through a lifetime of health and wellness. through this unique work, I've develped a special interest in complex cases and conditions such as traumatic brain injury, whiplash, and neurodegenerative diseases. In my free time I enjoys the beach, hiking the Rocky mountains, and traveling the world.
I'm Paige Stuart,
Paige is currently the Director of Operations at Balance Chiropractic. She earned her Accounting degree from Western Michigan University in 2012. Paige is a walking, talking, passionate billboard for Foundational Correction simply because it helped her regain her health from suffering a traumatic head injury in 2012 that caused her health to significantly decline in innumerable ways. She went from a life of connection, adventure and excitement to one of debilitating neck pain, headaches, brain fog, anxiety, insomnia, joint pain and digestive dysfunction. She saw every type of “-ologist” you could possibly imagine and when the traditional medical world failed her, she was determined to get answers from the non-traditional medical world. Paige soon found Foundational Correction. Without any popping or twisting of her spine, the doctor reset her spinal misalignment in a way that she barely felt him touch her. This seemed very unconventional, but her response was immediate. She felt that little bit of relief which gave her hope for the first time in a very long time. Paige continued her healing journey with this technique and has made a full recovery. She is committed to helping others do the same. If you have struggled with health concerns that modern medicine or other healing techniques have not been able to help you with, please consider giving Foundational Correction a chance to help you recover your health. She went from lost to found, and we would like to extend an olive branch to you to see if we can serve you or your family too.
Paige also volunteers with many local organizations such as The Junior League of Colorado Springs, The Business Women's Network and the Southern Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce. She is an active member of the SCWCC Young Professionals Committee.
Paige has also completed 400 hours of yoga teacher training and offers special workshops and retreats.
